ANHYDROUS MILK
FAT
|
Product Info:
AMF or clarified butter oil consists of about
99.8 per cent fat and 0.1 per cent water, and is popular in
warm countries where it is used for cooking. In India, AMF
is known as Ghee. AMF has a long shelf life and even in
tropical climates can be stored at room temperature. When
refrigerated the shelf life is up to one year. As an
industrial ingredient, AMF can be used for recombining skim
milk powder into fluid milk and is also used widely in the
ice cream and chocolate industries and in the production of
baby foods and ready-cooked meals.
